More recently Datatrac developed an Intrinsically Safe e-Tag Reader and system application for use in the oil and gas industry as well as other sectors where gaseous atmospheres are encountered. The company now has certification for the IS e-Tag Reader from Sira Certification Service to be used in Zone Zero gaseous atmospheres where there is more than 1,000 hours of continuous gas per year.
