AMPAIR (Boost Energy Systems Ltd) will be featuring the Ampair Pacific 300 wind turbine, Ampair Pacific 100 wind turbine and Aquair UW 100 micro hydro turbine. The Pacific 300 has only just been introduced and features the revolutionary PowerFurl™ governing mechanism – it is of particular use in remote locations including scientific monitoring stations, homes, boats, seismic crews.
Other exhibits will include FlexCell flexible solar panels which are of use to travellers who need solar power (mountaineers, researchers, etc) and/or locations where impact resistance is required (buoys etc). Ampair’s exhibits will be of particular interest to delegates attending the Marine Renewable Energy; Coast and Ocean Mapping; Reefs of the World; and Operational Oceanography streams at WMTC 2006.
For thirty years wind and water turbines manufactured by Ampair TM have supplied electrical power worldwide to tens of thousands of yachts, remote homes and cabins, and isolated agricultural & industrial locations. Based in the south of England the Ampair business has recently merged with Boost Energy Systems Ltd who have been manufacturing distributed energy solutions for fifty years.
Now Ampair is introducing larger wind turbines to serve the needs of modern society, allowing householders to generate their own renewable energy from the wind. These turbines are suitable for linking to the electrical grid and can supply a substantial proportion of a householder's electrical needs in a safe, clean, environmentally sound manner. www.ampair.com |
